Anyone who likes the idea of quality handmade crafts that have been created locally would do well to pay a visit to Tinker Belles Market.
We are friends Teresa Walsh and Carey Jones, based in Mere, Wiltshire and Bourton, Dorset, and we share a creative gene. We were having problems finding a local outlet for our handmade crafts so decided to create our own. We started Tinker Belles Market which is run six times a year in local venues.
We have persuaded other talented local craftsmen and women to join us - the result is a thriving market full of many temptations for the discerning shopper wanting to buy original, affordable and locally handmade items. No two markets are the same as an eclectic mix of sellers attend - our wares range from delicious cupcakes, chocolates, jams and chutneys to walking sticks, handbags, stained glass and paintings, along with Teresa's cards, gift and doorstops and Carey's jewellery, memoboards and bunting.
